How the test works:

You take the test at our office in Thirsk, North Yorkshire

It is taken by answering questions

You are given a choice of answers and have to pick the right one

The questions are shown on a computer screen

You can wear headphones and listen to the questions if you want

You will also hear the answers to pick from

You use a computer mouse to click on the right answer

We will show you how to do this if you need help

There is a practice test

Someone will be with you while you take the test

They cannot help you with the answers but can help you use the computer

Most people have to answer 40 questions

You have to get 35 right

The test takes 45 minutes for most people

There is easy access for people in wheelchairs

You can take the test in a language other than English.
