On Site Assessment and Training Route (OSAT)
OSAT is for people who have some experience of working in construction
The assessment will be for the trade they work in
Assessment - looking at the way someone does their work
The assessment is done at work - that is why it is called "On Site" assessment
Most people will get some Government Funding to pay all or part of the cost
We will help you with any paperwork if you want us to
The assessment will not interfere with your work
We also give you the chance to tell us about jobs you have done
If you need some training to help you qualify, we will give it to you
At the end, you will get NVQ Level 2
NVQ = National Vocational Qualification - a standard all employers know about
