NVQ Assessment Programme

With courses in Plastering, Bricklaying, Tiling, Joinery and Painting & Decorating on offer, SuperSkills has also developed as an assessment and training centre accredited by the Construction Awards Alliance (formerly the CITB).  This means that self-employed tradespeople and building companies can meet their statutory obligations and obtain Level 2 National Vocational Qualifications by registering for NVQ assessment through SuperSkills Construction Training. Register Here NVQ Level 2 assessment must be undertaken by construction workers as part of the Governments’ drive to improve the skills of the workforce.  However, financial support is available to tradespeople and companies who want assessment in order to gain the necessary qualifications. The process is simple! Getting your NVQ involves four steps: Finding an accredited assessment and training centre (Tick this box – you’ve done it!) Building your “portfolio of evidence” (Fairly easy – and we help you to do it!) Being assessed and trained whilst you work (We can make this both helpful and fun!) Doing some paperwork (OK – the least interesting bit – that’s why we help!)   Assessment Costs Some funding may be available to self employed tradespeople and companies to support the assessment programme.  This may depend on where you live or work.  SuperSkills staff will advise you what Government funding applies in your circumstances.
