Painting & Decorating Courses
Our painting and decorating course will appeal to all, whether they are complete beginners, or already have some experience. The course is tutored by an experienced tradespeople with extensive knowledge of the best methods to adopt in achieving an excellent finish.
Course members include people who want to undertake their own DIY projects or who are wishing to develop a career as a painter/decorator.
The tutor will gain an understanding of your existing skill level and adjust the programme where necessary, to ensure you spend your
time learning new skills, rather than revisiting things you already know.You will learn everything you need to, from choosing the right brushes, tools and materials, to cutting and fitting ceiling coving or wallpapering around a fireplace.
Objectives
- Care & use of brushes, tools and equipment.
- Preparation of surfaces.
- Application of emulsion, undercoat and gloss paints.
