Plastering Courses

This course is designed to take a complete novice to the point where he or she is competent at plastering or rendering. Whether you want to learn a trade skill, start up a business, change your career or repair or renovate your home, the SuperSkills Plastering Training Course will provide you with all the skills you require.

Objectives:

• Preparation, cutting and fixing plasterboard to walls and ceilings.
• Use of angle beads, joint taping, dot and dab, mixing plaster.
• Use of tools, skimming, repair work, feathering.
• Basic rendering techniques.

By the end of this five day course you will have plaster boarded and skimmed the equivalent area of a small bedroom and over-skimmed the same area. You will also have repaired holes and cement rendered a wall. The step-by-step approach we adopt will ensure you understand each of the tools used, the properties of various materials and the techniques required to achieve a quality result.
