SuperSkills Construction Training is in Thirsk, Yorkshire. The Postcode is YO7 3AB.
People come from all over the place to SuperSkills – and it’s only for one day!
SatNav Users Beware! Every Postcode has a place in the world where it lives. Your SatNav will take you to that exact point. Ours is mapped at the “wrong” end of Blakey Lane. If you find yourself outside the Crown & Anchor pub, just drive along Blakey Lane and you will find SuperSkills on the Right. (Of course, you might just want to stay at the pub……………….more fun, but probably less productive.)
As you get to the Thirsk & York exit, leave the dual carriageway and follow the A19 York signs. Go down the slip road, turn left and enter the right hand lane. Turn right into Blakey Lane and you will see Thirsk Rural Business Centre entrance 200 yards on the left. Go in and follow the car park until you see the SuperSkills buildings.
Proceed from Scotch Corner to Junction 49 and exit the motorway. Take directions to A168 Teesside. (See also below)

Please note – if you are driving up from the South and have a choice, presently the A1 is quicker than the M1 and we suggest it as a preferred route.

Thirsk has an excellent train service, being only just over two hours from London and two hours thirty minutes from Edinburgh. Travel to Thirsk Railway Station and we can arrange for you to be picked up if you wish. We recommend Trainline as an excellent means of getting tickets.
National Express Coaches come into Thirsk Market Square and you can Fly Into Leeds Bradford – contact us to make collection arrangements.
Don’t forget – it’s only for one day! (And quite a few people take the opportunity to bring their partners and make a weekend of it!)
