SuperSkills Fire Extinguisher Training courses are aimed at all employees to assist them in identifying and reducing the risk that fire presents in the workplace.
This course provides training in the use of different types of fire extinguishers and the protocol of tackling a fire.
It is a cost effective way for employers to fulfil their legal obligation to provide their employees with the necessary understanding of fire prevention and safety.
Current legislation, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, applies to all workplaces regardless of the number of employees and requires employers to provide adequate training in fire safety and awareness for all members of their staff.
This course will enable you and your staff to know which fire extinguisher to use if a fire occurs and how to tackle the fire.
The Fire Extinguisher Training Course is best used in addition to our ‘Basic Fire Safety Awareness‘ course, so you and your staff are aware of all the aspects of fire safety required by the legislation.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Identify the different types of Fire Extinguishers that are available
- Understand when, where and which fire extinguisher to use
- Know what actions to take upon discovering a fire

Each module is rounded off with several multiple-choice questions, candidates are required to get 70% on these tests. The final module requires 100% to pass the course.
Candidates have the opportunity to review all the answers at the end of each module before final submission and will be given 3 attempts to achieve the required result.
