(COSHH) Regulations 2002
. It is aimed at anyone who is exposed to Substances Hazardous to Health at work, as well as line managers with responsibility for such people.

In legal terms, substances hazardous to health are classified as “very toxic, toxic, harmful, corrosive or irritant” under the Classification, Labelling and Packaging Regulation (CLP).

Whilst the CLP Regulations were initially adopted under European Union Law, they have been retained post Brexit and are still applicable throughout the United Kingdom in an amended format.

The regulations apply to all workers and others who have responsibility for the use of hazardous substances..
